Obituary of Harry A. Robinson

Bolton Landing Harry A. Robinson, 69, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Bolton Landing, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007 at Glens Falls Hospital following a short illness. He was born on September 10, 1937 in Warrensburg, he was the son of Frank and Sara Combs Robinson. Harry Served in the United States Air Force, he was stationed at SAC Headquarters at Offut Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Robinson retired from the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation on Green Island in Bolton Landing. Harry had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing in the Adirondacks, he especially enjoyed teaching his children to horseback ride, skiing and snowshoeing. Besides his parents, his sister Faye Farrar and Brother Roy Robinson have predeceased him. Survivors include his children, Greta Maranville Newman and Linda Maranville Conner and her husband, Greg. Michael Robinson and his wife, Melisse and Barry Robinson and his wife, Jennifer and Stacey Dobbs; Grandchildren, Marriele, Maggie and Madison Robinson, Kyle Certin, Johnny and Elizabeth Dobbs; Brothers, Douglas Robinson and his wife, Pat, and Leonard Robinson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call on Harry’s family from 6 until 8pm on Monday, May 14, 2007 at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
