I have never met your family, but i was very sorry to have read Nicholas, fell asleep in death. My deepest sympathy to the family. It will be particularly hard for you dear mother and difficult for the bereaved father as well to lose your child. Don't be afraid to cry shedding tears of grief. Grief appears to be a necessary part of the healing process. You may find that for a time your emotions will be somewhat unpredictable tears may flow without much advance warning be patient with yourself.
The Bible assures us: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18)
With sincere sympathy may these understanding thoughts help somehow to convey the sympathy that hearts can feel but words can never say.

Andrea, Christopher, Ro, Andrew and especially Christopher and Nicholas' UNCLE ANDY, words cannot express how Jay, Cait, Angelica, Adriannne and I feel. You have gone through so much in these last years and Andrea you are such a strong person. Nicholas touch our lives deeply with his sparkling smile and adventurous energy. I sit here and I have this vivid memory of him when Nicholas and Christopher came out to see me on my birthday in July of 08. Christopher and Nicholas playing and trying to catch the frogs in the pond next thing they were eating the blackberries from the bushes (that I didnt even know I had). so then I had them bring me around the property to show me all the bushes.
These two boys of yours on that day were soooo very busy and curious little ones.
I so enjoyed you bringing them out to me. Nicholas has brought joy & happiness to my life. I will so cherish the memories. Jay and Cait got to spend Halloween with them and brought them on a short four wheeling ride which they had a blast.
Andrea, Papa, Mema and Uncle Andy,cherish all the memories you have because I strongly believe that in past experience that is what gets us through.

Nicholas stole my heart the first time he came to Physical Education class. He was my "little buddy" who had a smile that would light up the darkest room. He would always poke my side and say "Excuse me, Can I ask you something". I'll never forget the day he was able to do several jumping jacks in a row. He was so excited and I was so proud of him. Nicholas was a special little boy who made all of us at Minerva Central laugh. When ever we were in a classroom discussion, Nicholas always had his own comments to add to our conversations.
