Obituary of Donna Irene Greve

Indian Lake: Donna Irene Greve, 75, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Glens Falls Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Randolph Greve and they shared 13 years of marriage together and even shot a bigger buck than her husband and never let him live it down. Born in Corinth, she was the daughter of the late Fay and Irene Colson. She was employed at Countryside Adult Home as a head cook for over 30 years until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed spending time in the Adirondacks with her husband and dogs at their cabin. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of children (big hugs), and her love of butterflies. She also enjoyed her wildflower garden and her collection of Santa’s, carousels, and Mickey Mouse’s. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by two brothers, Earl and Bruce Colson. She is survived by her loving husband, Randolph; her beloved children, Clifton (Amy) Bliss, James (Melissa) Bliss, and Faye Murphy and fiancé, John; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At Donna’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. Expressions of sympathy may take the from of a donation to a charity of one’s choice. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the ICU staff at Glens Falls Hospital for the outstanding care and compassion given at their time of need.
