As you try to comprehend this profound loss know that it is okay to grieve the loss of your dear loved one. For the true God in the heavens feel your pain -Isaiah 41:10. He knows your suffering and will help you cope with your grief. Job 10:1 says " I will speak out in my bitter distress". Have faith in God's promise written at Acts 24:15 which expresses the hope of seeing your dead loved ones again. It is comforting for us to know that God does not cause suffering and that one day it will end. -Revelation 20:12,13..

To the family of the dearest man of my childhood and later a man of the ruler I held up as to measure the goodness of the men I knew throughout my life. I treasure my memories of him in my life. My love to his family and sincere sympathy for your loss. Nancy Kelley Braddock

Coping with the death of a loved one is never easy. When Lazarus died, Jesus “groaned in the spirit and became troubled,” and shortly afterward he “gave way to tears.” (John 11:33, 35) So, when someone we love dies, it does not show weakness to cry. God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. (Revelation 21:4).May the God of love comfort the Shinn family and friends.
