Jacquelyn A. Miller, 63, of Elm Street, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her home.
Born December 14, 1951 in Troy, she was the daughter of Barbara (Slight) Newton of Troy and the late Robert Newton.
Jackie was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, class of 1970.
She worked for NY Telephone, Spiak’s Restaurant, and Magic Forest throughout the years.
Jackie loved the Adirondacks, playing games on her laptop, and knitting snowmen.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly Miller and her companion, William Diotte, of Cohoes, Shawn McBride and his companion, Anthony Collins, of Warrensburg, and Terry Barrett and her husband, Adam, of Warrensburg, Jay McDonald and his wife, Starr of MA, and Charles McDonald of MA; seven grandchildren, Raina, Daisy, Rhonda, Destiny, AJ, Michael and Nina; a great-grandson, Zachary; her companion, Ronald McDonald of Warrensburg; and three sisters, Deborah Recesso, Dale Giroux, and Vickie Basque. She also leaves behind a niece, several nephews and a special friend, Suzie Vandenburgh, as well as her friends at Magic Forest.
Friends may call on Jacquelyn’s family from noon to 2 pm, Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home, Inc., 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will immediately follow the visitation at 2 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Pettigrew, Rector of the Church of the Holy Cross, officiating.
Burial will follow in Warrensburg Cemetery.
