Obituary of Mark J. Kelly

Warrensburg: Mark J. Kelly, 53, of Summit St., passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Albany Medical Center following a long illness. Born March 22, 1958 in Suffern, he was the son of Loretta (Wood) and the late George A. Kelly. Mark held various jobs throughout his life, most recently working for Hometown Sewer Service in Warrensburg. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go camping and fishing, but most of all, Mark will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh. Mark loved his nieces and nephews and looked after them as if they were his own children. He leaves behind his mother, Loretta Kelly of Glens Falls; siblings, Roger G. Kelly and his wife, Cindy of Shohola, PA; Todd M. Kelly and his companion, Stacey of Warrensburg; Kathleen Kelly of Warrensburg; Valerie LaForge and her husband, Clyde of Glens Falls; Theresa Searer of Glens Falls; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Mark’s family from 1 to 3 pm, Sunday, August 21, 2011 at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St.,Warrensburg. A funeral service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at 3 pm, at the funeral home with Sister Linda Hogan, Parish Life Director of St. Cecilia’s Church, officiating.
