Sybil A. Russell, 62, of Library Avenue, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 25, 1948 in Sparta, NJ, she was the daughter of Mildred (Labarr) McCarrick of Montague, NJ and the late Calvin C. McCarrick.
Sybil was an active member of the Church of Latter Day Saints in Sparta, NJ.
Spending time with her family, Bingo, crossword puzzles were but a few of her favorite enjoyments.
Besides her father, she is predeceased by her beloved husband of 35 years, Marcus W. Russell who passed away on May 3, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Sloan W. Russell and his wife, Gina; grandchildren, Preston W. Russell and Alyssa M. Russell, all of Warrensburg; Her three brothers, Graig McCarrick and his wife, Carol of Glasser, NJ, Mark McCarrick and his wife, Nancy of Plymonth Lake, NJ, Blake McCarrick and his wife, Kimberly of Rainier, OR; her mother in law, Florence (Hartman) Russell of Warrensburg; as well as several extended family members and friends.
At Sybil’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
