We knew we had arrived in the Ads when we saw Ronny in the fields riding on the tractor, greeting us with his bright smile and a tip of his hat. We enjoyed celebrating his August birthdays with this legend,as he entertained us with his many colorful stories. He was a warm, kind man who loved all his many cats, naming all the same-simply-"kitty".

The entire Wales family looked forward to visiting with Ronny every summer. We all loved hearing his many, many colorful stories about life in the Adirondacks-his once a year haircut and how every woman in town thought he looked just like Elvis. He loved life and his many cats -all named "kitty". He was an incredibly kind, generous, hard working man. He was what made our vacations in the Ads so special!
We will miss his warm smile!

Ronnie was a good man who lived his life on his own terms. He was a loyal friend to my family, especially Mary and Tom McPhillips. Heaven is definitely a bit livelier now with Ronnie. May he rest in peace.

I will always remember Ronnie"s loyalty and affection toward Mary and Tom ; no chore was too great or small. " Come on Tom, it's time for your walk" he chided, as he daily made sure my Uncle Tom was up and walking with him down the road; my Aunt Mary laughed and clapped as he very gently carried my 10-week old daughter out to the car as I packed to go home. God bless you Ronnie.
