My brother David was a very sweet man who loved his family and cared a lot about our Vets. Many memories cross my mind but I have to laugh when I remember us taking our battle stations whenever the upstairs bathroom flooded! And then there was the time I watched our Father stitch up his chin as he sat on the back yard picnic table. What a guy! His emails made me laugh and I will miss him very much. Love to Rozanne, Andy and Dan. XOXOXO Helen

Rozanne, I am vacationing in Florida and received the sad news regarding Dave, I was one of many of his golfing buddies at Cronins. We all loved Dave, a kind and gentle man, who endeared himself to all with his easy smile and quick wit. So sorry for your loss! Just wanted you to know the positive mark he left on all of us. To the family my sympathy for your loss. As you try to comprehend this profound loss. Keep in mind that the true God in the heavens feel your pain. He knows your suffering and will help you cope with your grief. In the Bible at Job 10:1 we read , "I will speak out in my bitter distress". Have faith in God's promised written at Acts 24:15. This expresses the hope of seeing your dead loved ones again. God does not cause suffering and one day it will end, this is comforting to know -Revelation 21:3,4.

I will miss my spirited talks about the Knicks and NBA with Dave. My son loved the Patrick Ewing card he gave him. I will miss him coming in to the barber shop on Tuesday mornings and always being patient and funny when I was still on "weekend time" and totally disorganized. He was always a pleasure to speak to and started my day in a great way. He will truly be missed. God Bless you Dave....
