We will always remember our good neighbor Joe.
He was such a good influence to all the kids on the block, and they loved him.

I am sad to think that Joe has gone; North Creek will be a little less classy as a result. But I am glad to think that Joe is reunited with his many buddies from Company A of the 803rd Aviation Engineers Battalion that he was separated from in the Philippines so many years ago. They have a lot of catching up to do. We'll miss you Joe, and we salute you!

Jack & Family; I always admired your father Joe, for his service and sacrifice for our country. I also remember how he always had a friendly word for me when I worked at Gore Mtn Ski Center. He was a true gentleman. Our deepest sympathies, Jim & Joy Cranker.

I didn't know Mr. Minder, but after I read his obituary in today's Post-Star, I wanted to write and express my sympathies to his family and many friends. I also wanted to express my deep gratitude for Mr. Minder's great service to our country in it's time of need. As a survivor of Bataan and Corregidor, and the Japanese prison camps, he has earned all of America's respect. God, grant him peace. Sincerely, Mike Huggins (formerly of Argyle, NY)

Hello Jack,
I was sad to hear of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful man.I really enjoyed visiting with him and your mom when they used to drive you down for physical theray for your knee injury. I can remember that he used to go out to the car early and "keep your pillows warm for you". We all knew he was sneaking a little nap in. Take care Jack and remember all the wonderful memories with your dad.
