My deepest sympathies go out to all of Ellen's family during this difficult time. She was a lovely lady even during the time of her declining health, and I can only imagine what an extraordinary person she was during her lifetime. It has been a great privilege for me to have been her nurse these past few years, and the most wonderful part was to have been witness to the extraordinary love and devotion Darlene had for her mother. Darlene has a true heart of gold, which I'm sure she got from her mother. She gave her mother the most loving care I think I will ever see, right up until the beautiful, peaceful end of her long and meaningful life. I hope the memories of the happy days spent with your mother bring you much comfort and many smiles.
