Obituary of Lawrence G. Ingraham

Warrensburg:
Lawrence G. “Larry” Ingraham, 57, of Buyce Cross Road, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born July 31, 1959 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Dorothy (Call) Ingraham of Gansevoort and the late George Ingraham.
Following his graduation from South Glens Falls High School in 1977, he began working at NYS Department of Transportation as a heavy equipment operator where he remained for 33 years.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many camping, fishing, canoeing, and hiking trips with his family. He also enjoyed computer gaming.
He was a long time member of the Faith Baptist Church in Warrensburg.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Darcy Ingraham of Warrensburg; his children, Joshua Ingraham and his wife, Jenn of Glens Falls, Jacob Ingraham and his wife, Tasha of Glens Falls, Jesse Ingraham and Jeremy Ingraham, both of Warrensburg; his grandchildren, Evony Ingraham and Jacob Ingraham, Jr.; his siblings, Lorna Silver Hamblin and her husband, Ray of Gansevoort, Scott Ingraham and his wife, Correna of Hartford, Daniel Ingraham of VT and Lynn Hopkins of Gansevoort, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Larry’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 7 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg with Rev. Lee Call, officiating.
Burial will be conducted in the spring in Warrensburg Cemetery.
Larry’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the patients and staff at the Glens Falls Hospital Renal Dialysis Center for the love and support shown to him over the past four years.
