Obituary of Arnold B. Sprague

Warrensburg: Arnold “Pete” Sprague, 73, a former Warrensburg resident, passed away, Saturday, December 22, 2007 at his residence in Forest City, NC. He was a native of Warren County, and a son of the late Lawrence and Frances (Bills) Sprague. Arnold was employed as a saw mill operator and was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church in Harris, NC. His favorite pastimes included his love for animals. Besides his parents, his brother, Ernest Reed Jr., and his sister, Florence Moffitt have also predeceased him. Survivors include one brother; Emery Reed of Warrensburg; two sisters; Myrtle Greenholtz and Edith Reed, both of Forest City, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Arnold’s family from 2-4 pm, Saturday, December 29, at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg. A service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at 4 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the Warrensburg Cemetery in the spring.
