Obituary of Kyle A. Dunkley

Johnsburg: Kyle A. Dunkley, 34, of Park Road, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born February 29, 1980 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Duane N. Dunkley of Battle Mountain, Nevada, and Shirley J. “Suki” (Bankert) Dunkley of North Creek. Kyle attended Johnsburg Central School, and received his GED. He married Marilyn A. “Mary” Raymond on May 26, 2012 in Chestertown. Besides spending time with his children, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards, and gambling. Kyle was employed by Northeast Underlayments for many years. Most recently he worked for Seth Dunbar Logging. He is predeceased by his brother, Kevin Paul Dunkley, and his uncle, Charles A. Bankert. In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by his wife, Marilyn Dunkley of Johnsburg; his children, Meghan and Riley Dunkley of Olmstedville, and Adrianna Dunkley of Johnsburg; a brother, Bret Dunkley, and his wife, Fae, and their son, Skyler, of Kotzebue, Alaska; his grandmother, Shirley E. Bankert; an uncle, Michael Bankert of Queensbury; two half sisters, Fawn Millington and Terri Wadsworth; his mother-in-law, Marcia Raymond of Minerva. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. Friends may call on Kyle’s family from 5-7 pm Tuesday, May 6 at the Alexander -Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A memorial service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
