Ronald Bruce, 70, of Main St., passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home following a brief illness.
Born February 26, 1946 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Ronald and Virginia (Musso) Bruce.
Ron always lived his life to the fullest, viewing every day as a new adventure. He was a loving father and a true friend to all, who enjoyed skiing, sailing, and kayaking, along with many other outdoor activities.
He is survived by his beloved children, Ronald Bruce of FL, Melissa Mannion and her husband, Patrick, of Ireland, Christina Rivers and her husband, Terry, of West Chazy, Adelaide Bruce of Boston, and Jamie Bruce of North Creek; grandchildren, Lily Mannion, Konnor and Czarina Rivers; his siblings, Donald, Philip and Anthony Bruce, Angela May, and Tina Seymour. He is also survived by his former wife and lifelong friend, Linda Bruce of Long Island, his girlfriend Ellen Favro of North Creek, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call on Ron’s family from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will immediately follow the visitation at 7 pm, at the funeral home.
