Russell E. Andrews, Jr., 61, of County Route 29, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, October 15, 2018 at his home following a long illness.
Born January 17, 1957 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Russell Sr., and Yvonne (Cooper) Andrews.
He worked at the Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing as a carpenter and housing manager for 27 years until health issues forced him into early retirement.
Besides spending time with his family, Russell loved to play the drums and was part of a local band. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Elizabeth Fountain and her husband, Rob of Minerva; granddaughter, Rosalyn Fountain of Minerva; as well as two sisters, one brother and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At Russell’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
Memorial services will be conducted privately at the convenience of his family.
