Obituary of Carl J. Bills

Warrensburg: Carl James Bills, III, 21, of Harrington Hill Road, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born January 21, 1994 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Nichole Whiting of Warrensburg. Carl enjoyed spending time with his family, attending Prospect School, where he was due to graduate this year, as well as Sponge Bob, dogs, movies, watching television, his favorite show, Walker Texas Ranger, and going on walks. He was a very loving young man who had a zest for life and brought love and laughter to all who knew him. Carl was predeceased by his maternal great-grandmother, Lilian Gates, a cousin, John J. Bills, Jr., and an aunt, Connie Stewart. In addition to his mother, he was survived by a brother, whom he shared a special bond with, Josh Whiting of CA; grandparents, Margaret Gates and Pa Pa Jack, both of Warrensburg. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Carl’s family from 1 to 2 pm, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A memorial service to celebrate his life will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Andrews, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Warrensburg. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Carl’s memory to the Prospect Child and Family Center, 133 Aviation Rd., Queensbury, NY 12804.
