Ruth was an amazing woman! My childhood is filled with many memories of her as she was my neighbor for a number of years. May the family and friends close to her be filled with love and comfort during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed!

Condolences to Ruth's family, so sad to hear of her passing. She had a personality larger than life. She was a great friend to my mom (Halah) as they were in the quilting group together at the church. Even after my mom passed, we included her and Mary to our Thanksgiving dinner at the church and she amazed us each year remembering each of the family members regardless of how much time passed since she last saw them. (Even we have trouble keeping up!) She was a wonderful lady who was always cracking jokes and making people laugh. She had a way of making you feel like you had always known her. She will be greatly missed.

I was deeply saddened when I hear " Gram" was sick and even more so to hear of her passing. I work at a local business in town and she would stop in weekly to stop in and check on us. She would often have a question about her car or just stop by to catch up and just get a hug. Her hugs were the BEST by the way! One day when stopping she laid out her beautiful, hand made quilts. My co-worker and I both got to choose one to keep. Shortly afterwards we both found out we were going to be parents. She immediately started making one for each of our children. My son now calls this his "special blanket" because I told him its from a very special lady. Ruth often spoke of "the husband" and told me many stories of there life together. I think one of the reasons I loved her so much is because her spunk reminds me of my own grandmother. I always wanted those two to meet but figured they may be trouble together :) Although I am grateful that she is no longer suffering and back with her husband I'm going to miss her very much. Not just as a customer but as a friend as well.

Our thoughts and prayers to Esther and all of the rest of Ruth's family.. Ruth was a great lady. She used to come over to the school and checkup on all of us there..
