Obituary of Kristin I. Joly
Please share a memory of Kristin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
THURMAN & LAURINBURG, NC:
On August 19, 2013, the Lord called our beloved Kristin Irene Joly home, to be with Him, at his side, following an automobile accident.
Kristin arrived in this world on January 28, 1993, in Glens Falls, leading the way for her twin brother, Jeffry Paul Joly, II, born to Jeffry and Janet (Murphy) Joly, both of NC.
Kristin attended Warrensburg Elementary School, and in the 2nd grade moved with her family to North Carolina. Affectionately named, “Baby Girl”, she was a 2011 graduate of East Montgomery High School in Biscoe, NC. She then attended Randolph Community College in Asheboro, NC. Kristin was employed by the Olive Garden in Aberdeen, NC.
She loved to cook and planned to one day own her own restaurant. She always found time to make a special meal or dessert to celebrate life with her family and friends.
Kristin had a fondness for animals, especially her cat, Tinkerbell.
Kristin was a fun loving daughter, beautiful hazel-eyed young lady and the apple of her Daddy’s eye and her mother's precious little girl. Love, laughter, and childhood antics created a lasting bond with her brother and sister that only siblings can know. She had a contagious smile and was blessed with many friends.
Kristin was courageous, generous, and compassionate which was exemplified in her choice to be an organ donor; in death, she gave life.
She has joined her paternal grandparents Irene and Alfred Joly, who have predeceased her.
In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her siblings, Shannon Ross, Brad Parsons, and Jeffry Paul Joly, II, all of North Carolina; her maternal grandparents, James and Joan Murphy of Warrensburg; maternal aunts and uncles, James (JoAnn) Murphy of Queensbury, John (Michelle) Murphy of Chestertown, Joanne (Bill) Zwerger of Camillus, and Jill (Kevin) Murphy Kuehner of Syracuse; paternal great-Aunt, Ethel Pratt of Bennington, VT; and many cousins.
Friends may call on Kristin’s family from 1-3 pm, Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, Main St., Warrensburg.
Rite of Committal will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery, Bennington, VT.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Kristin’s memory to the Montgomery County Human Society, 1150 Okeeweeme Road, Troy, NC, 27371.
