Leslie A. Carpenter, 75, formerly of Library Avenue, passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born October 3, 1938 in Fort Edward, he was the son of the late Downey and Doris (Mason) Carpenter.
Following his honorable discharge from the United States Air Force in 1957, Leslie was a self employed building contractor for many years and was well known as a local Amsoil dealer.
At Leslie’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 6 pm, Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 81 Mohican St., Glens Falls, NY 12801.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Leslie's memory to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Glens Falls.
