Robert A. Smith, 77, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 in Wood Village, Oregon.
Born on August 4, 1933 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late James D., Jr. and Ruth (Taft) Smith.
Robert served his country in the United States Air Force from 1952-1953 upon his honorable discharge.
Robert had a great love for the Adirondacks. He was an avid fisherman, who also enjoyed hunting.
Robert is survived by his children; Robert Smith, Jr. of Dublin, TX; Scott Smith of Lake George; Colleen Morabito of Riverdale, NJ; and Darlene Arsenault of Indian Lake. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He will be laid to rest with military honors in Cedar River Cemetery, Indian Lake along side his son, Michael.
