My sympathy for the death of your beloved one. This is a very difficult time for you, having lost loved ones myself in the past. Know that our loving heavenly father knows and understands the many pains that you bear, at this time. Constantly talk to God in prayer: (Psalms 55:22). The Holy Scriptures assures us that your loved ones will live again by means of the resurrection. - Act 24:15 and John 5:28-29. What a wonderful time that will be!

Florence was a woman who was a true visionary during her time on earth...My Dad and her husband were good friends..I accompanied him (@age 6) to their home one day. Florence sat me down with cookies and milk at her white linen table, told me to always sit up straight, and then asked me to sing her a song.. I only met her once..but I never forgot her... #wow

Mrs. Carrington tolerated me for sure and James and I certainly kept her busy. I remember apple pancakes at any given time of day, typically around midnight when we would wander home. What a splendid woman. Thank you, Mrs. Carrington. To the Carrington family; please accept our deepest heartfelt sympathies and know you have all of my respect.

Florence is the reason that Warrensburgh Beautification exists, and all the projects and initiatives that have occurred under its umbrella for the past 35 years. Her work in historic preservation and local economic development have been shining examples for all of us to follow. She was ahead of her time, and we have all benefited from her love of our hamlet. She was a mentor, a friend, a trailblazer and an inspiration, dedicated to the success of our community and to whom I owe a debt of gratitude.
