Obituary of Patrick T. DeAngelo

Queensbury: Patrick T. DeAngelo, 81, of Walker Lane, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 05, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born October 2, 1937 in South Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Patrick and Cecelia (Russo) DeAngelo. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Mary’s School and following his graduation from South High in 1955, he enlisted in the United States Army reserves. Pat worked for the United States Postal Service for the majority of his career and retired as Postmaster in Warrensburg in 2000. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy DeAngelo, a sister, Roseann Cook, and his cherished companion, Little Bit. He is survived by his children, Michael DeAngelo and his wife, Lisa of Poplar Bluff, MO, T. J. Hall and his wife, Christie of Wells, Annette Piper and her husband, Joel of South Glens Falls, and Nancy Bruce and her husband, Jeffrey of Queensbury; siblings, Robert DeAngelo, Gary DeAngelo, and Judy Seeley, all of Queensbury; as well as seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Pat’s family from 10 to 11 am, Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A funeral service to celebrate his life will immediately follow the visitation at 11 am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Long Lake Cemetery.
