Obituary of Linda L. Moulton

Warrensburg:
Linda Lee Moulton, 69, of Library Avenue, passed peacefully into Heaven Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her daughter’s home, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Born March 5, 1946 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Carson K. and Hilda L. (Green) Slater.
Linda graduated from Warrensburg Central School in 1964.
She worked at LD's Pharmacy in Warrensburg prior to spending many years doing medical/clerical work throughout the area. In her last 10 years before retiring, she was employed by Glens Falls Hospital in medical records. Linda was also an “Avon Lady" for the past 20 years, achieving President's Club recognition numerous times.
Linda loved quilting, shopping, scrapbooking, camping, and potluck dinners or tea with her many lady friends. She also always enjoyed “pancake night” with her Stony Creek crew. One of her favorite pastimes was attending her grandchildren’s sports and school functions. Linda was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Warrensburg, and always made an effort to help others by attending or contributing to many local benefits.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by a son, Sean C. Moulton, brother, “Gig” Slater, sister, Gina M. Combs, stepfather George S. Combs, and her in-laws, Robert and Annice Moulton.
She is survived by her children, Wade Moulton, Sr. and his wife Debbie, of Burlington, NC, Paul Moulton and his wife, Deb, of Minerva, Paula Sheridan of Warrensburg, Brett Moulton of Thurman, and her bonus daughter, Ellen Keath and her husband, Kevin, of Warrensburg; nine grandchildren, Wade (Jenn), Jack, Trevor, Jesse, Aiden, and Autumn Moulton, and Montana, Montgomery, and Madison Sheridan; one great-granddaughter, Annabelle Moulton; her siblings, JoAnn Slater of Fort Edward, Kathy Haskell and her husband, John, of Thurman, and Crystal Vaisey and her husband, Wendell, of Warrensburg. She also leaves behind her forever friend and the father of her children, Henry “Hank” Moulton of Warrensburg, her great-granddog/guard dog, Rusty, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
At Linda’s request there will be no calling hours scheduled.
A funeral service to celebrate her beautiful life will take place at 2 pm, Friday, April 17, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home, Inc., 3809 Main St., Warrensburg with Rev. Lee Call, Pastor of the Faith Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be conducted privately in Warrensburg Cemetery.
Friends and family are encouraged to gather at the Warrensburgh Masonic Lodge at 4 pm, Friday, for a potluck dinner in Linda’s honor.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Linda’s memory to the North Country Hardship Fund or High Peaks Hospice & Palliative Care.
Linda’s family would like to thank Dr. Darcy Grubbs, Lauren, and the rest of the team at the C.R. wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, High Peaks Hospice and Palliative Care, and Warren County Public Health, for the wonderful care and compassion shown throughout her illness, as well as a sincere thanks to those friends and family that helped care for Linda, brought food, visited, and sent cards and their prayers; she truly loved and appreciated each one of you.
