Obituary of Arthur Joseph Kaszubski

Arthur Joseph Kaszubski, 64, of Flagler Beach, Florida and Warrensburg, formerly of Rotterdam, passed away on August 21, 2006 at Glens Falls Hospital.
Mr. Kaszubski was born in Niskayuna on June 21, 1942. He was the son of Arthur L. and Helen Kaszubski.
Arthur was raised in Schenectady and Mariaville. He graduated from Schalmont High School in 1961.
Mr. Kaszubski worked as a supervisor for Lockheed Martin in Niskayuna retiring in 2000. He had also worked for GE and KAPL, the Daytona Auto Auction and the Daytona Speedway.
Arthur enjoyed detailing his truck and motorcycle, riding his goldwing, traveling, camping, walking and cooking. His main passion was taking care of his three girls and his boy.
He is survived by his wife Barbara J. (Hurd) “Smiley” Kaszubski of Flagler Beach, FL; one daughter, Dori L. Kaszubski of Schenectady; one son, Arthur Joseph Kaszubski Jr. and his wife Kathy of Holiday, FL; cherished granddaughter, Sara Alysia “Munchkin” Wood of Ballston Spa; his parents Arthur L. and Helen Kaszubski of Mariaville; a sister Karen M. Carpenter of Malta; a brother, Bruce A. Kaszubski and his wife, Cheryl of Schenectady; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, one niece, and an endless number of special friends.
Arthur’s family sends a special thank you to Dr. James Greenspan, Dr. Scott Biasetti, the nurses, and staff from the 5th and 2nd floor of Glens Falls Hospital, High Peaks Hospice especially Peg and Steve, and Sister Donna of Chapel Service at Glens Falls Hospital.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 pm on Friday, August 25th, at St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, Main St., Warrensburg, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7:30pm on Friday with the Rev. Paul Cox officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials to the American Stroke Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220 or to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY.
