Warrensburg:
Sueann M. Williams, 46, of Hudson Street, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.
Born April 2, 1968 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ramona (Houseworth) McCarthy.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Warrensburg Central School.
Sueann worked at Warrensburg Laundry for many years and was most recently employed for the Holiday Inn in Lake George until the onset of her illness.
She loved to spend time with her family and beloved pets including her cat, Oreo, and her horse, Ribbon. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Lacie.
She will be remembered for her quick wit and her sense of humor. Even during her final days, Sueann was still able to see humor in just about anything, frequently having the hospital staff in stitches.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her aunt, Beryl “Peanut” Houseworth.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Dan Williams of Warrensburg; her daughter, Loretta McCarthy and fiancée, Dustin Haskell of Thurman; her granddaughter, Lacie Ava-Marie Haskell of Thurman; her mother-in-law Gayle Cheney of Warrensburg; her sister, Danielle McCarthy of Ilion; her nephew, Kerry Bateman of Warrensburg; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
At Sueann’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of her family.
Sueann’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sponzo and his staff on Tower 2 of the C.R. Wood Cancer Center for the outstanding care she received throughout her illness.
