I don't know if you remember me but I worked with Nan for many years at the Holiday Inn. We had alot of good times and I missed her when you moved to Saratoga. I'm sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I remember the summer Nan and I spent together car-pooling to Holiday Inn to work in the laundry room together. I was earning money for college and she was such an encouragement to me to pursue my degree. She made folding sheets fun! I think of her fondly and send my sympathy to her family and friends.

It was with great sorrow to hear about the passing of my Aunt Nan. Like her sister (Lucy Watton nee Shields) she was a gentle person with a great love of animals. I spent two happy summers in Warrensburg in my teenage years. My heartfelt condolences to Thomas at this sad time.

Tom,
Vicki and I are so sorry to hear of Nan's passing. Nan was such a sweet lady to us throughout the years. We loved her smile and infectious laughter and how she made you always feel welcome in her home. While growing up her innocence made her a easy target for our teenage pranks but was so much a part of her charm. We will truly miss her.

Nan was not only a beautiful person on the outside but on the inside as well. I was lucky to have had the great honor and privilege of knowing her my whole life as she and my mother were pregnant together at the same time.We spent every summer for 40years at Scotty's and through the years we became not just friends but family.I called her every few months to talk and she would always talk about the fond memories we had and how she wished we could spend some more time together. I always thought one day I would get back north but I didn't get that chance. I do regret that so much now but it shows us how we have to cherish each moment with those we love as life can change in a flash. I have been in constant touch with Tommy during Aunt Nan's illness and know what pain he was in watching his Mom suffer so much.Tommy was his mom's whole world and she always said she could not ask for a better son so I hope he always remembers that. My heart is breaking that I cannot get to New York to say a proper goodbye to Aunt Nan but my heart will be there at this difficult time. There is now another angel in heaven looking over those she loved.God Bless and from the bottom of my heart, I send all my love and prayers to Tommy.

Tommy, It is with great saddness that I learned of your MOMs passing. I always thought of Nan as a special lady. My days at G.U. allowed me to see her often and our lunches together were very special. Although it has been afew years since our days at St.Cecilia's it seems like yesterday to me. Her smile was contagious and she will be greatly missed. May your memories help you through the difficult days ahead, and should you need anything do not hesitate to call, I am in the book. Diane
