Obituary of John J. Lynch

Hudson Falls: John J. Lynch, 75, of Earl Towers, passed away, Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Glens Falls Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born on August 1st, 1931, he was the son of late John and Muriel Lynch and the brother of late Maureen (Lynch) Lewis. John is also predeceased by his niece Barbara Lynch, and infant brother, Mathew Lynch. John graduated from Siena College and attended Albany Law School. He was a career Insurance Claim Adjuster as well as a Private Investigator in the Albany and Schenectady areas. He was an avid History buff and had a great sense of humor. John is survived by his three children: John J. Lynch Jr. and his wife, Serena with their three children of Merrimack, N.H.; Laraine (Lynch) Segar and her husband Steve with their 5 children of Rochester, N.Y.; and Andrea (Lynch) Rohrwasser and her husband Gene with their 3 children of Mooresville, N.C. Also surviving are his sister Joan (Lynch) Ouellette and her husband Richard of Warrensburg with their 5 children and 14 grandchildren. Brothers Lawrence Lynch of Glens Falls with his 6 children and 7 grandchildren, Robert Lynch and his wife Cathy of South Glens Falls with their 2 children and 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild, and Michael Lynch and his wife Madeline of Albany with their 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Also surviving are four children of the late Maureen Lynch Lewis. Friends and family may call from 1:00-2:45pm today (Friday) at St. Cecelia's RC Church, Main Street, Warrensburg. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 3:00 pm today following the visitation at the church with Fr. Paul Cox, presiding. There will be a gathering in the church hall following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Warren / Washington County Mental Health Association or to St. Cecilia’s RC Church.
