Beecher's son Gary was my best friend both as boy and man and their house, garage and barns were where I could be found at every free moment.Beecher and Shirley were outstanding folks and I learned what little I know of carpenter work and livestock care and attention from the man.He was never to busy to answer my stupid questions or even give instruction to me.He was a great and wonderful man and often as not he would not only give away a compliment by something done right but was just as quick with a scolding when I went outside of the law or his personal thoughts of right and wrong. That old man was a true friend, teacher and yes even my conscience on occasion.occasion. Warrensburg has lost one of those few remaining sons.Brian I am so very sorry for your loss.R.I.P. OLD FRIEND

To the Harvey Family, Having been a neighbor for 30years I just want to say never a day went by that Beecher did not wave, speak,or acknowledged me in some way. Rick Combs summed him up that was very fitting (Beecher was an Icon of the Hill better known as BURDICK St. May your memories help you through the days ahead.
