Josephine H. Williams, 93, formerly of River Road, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at The Eddy Village Green Nursing Home in Cohoes.
Born on December 3, 1915 in Herkimer, she was the daughter of the late Anthon and Mary Volenec.
She married Gordon C. Williams on September 8, 1935 in Thurman.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Gordon C. Williams; her brother, Emil Volenec and her sister, Rosa Volenec; and her son, Gordon L. Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Edith Shulman of Sedona, AZ; and daughter in-law, Audrey Coler and her husband, Ronald of Averill Park.
There are no calling hours scheduled.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, with Rev. Lee Call, Pastor of the Faith Baptist Church of Warrensburg, officiating.
Burial will be in the Warrensburg Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to a charity of one’s choice.
