Pete & Pat,
I was saddened to hear about the passing of your Mom. Everytime I drive by her home I tell my two girls the stories of your Mom babysitting Sylvia and I and how much trouble you two always got us into. Keep her memories close to your heart. She has good company where she is now.

Kibbe, we are thinking of you. As I told Michelle when I called this morning, in my experience losing a parent is as life altering as becoming one. take care and let us know if we can help; we know how lovingly and generously you cared for your mother -- as you do for all who are around you.

Janet,
We have been best friends since we were 8 years old, I will cherish our memories forever. "It takes a long time to grow an old friend". "God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, nor sun without rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way."
I LOVE YOU AND I WILL NEVER SAY "GOODBYE". SOON WE WILL BE TOGETHER AGAIN.
LOVE,
PAT

We cannot even begin to tell you what a difference meeting, working with, knowing or just being in the presence of this great woman made in our lives. She was truly a good, kind and loving person. It is, unfortunately, so very rare to find a soul like "Ma". By her being a part of our lives, and letting us be a part of hers, we have all been truly blessed. Our wish to everyone that knew her, is that we can all learn from her. To be kind to each other, love your family and never take for granted the short time that we have together.

My deepest sympathies to you. The world has lost a beautiful person. I remember when my grandfather (Ernest ((Bub)) Pratt) died, Janet sauntered into the house carrying a huge turkey with all the trimmings. She smiled at my grandmother and said "I heard you didn't have anything to do but entertain, so I thought this would help." We were all overwhelmed at her generosity.
Her sense of humor will be much missed and her dedication to all of her friends and family is irreplaceable.

Most of all, though, she loved her family passionately. She spoke of all of you all of the time, even when she was hurting, with the fierce pride only a mother can show. Everyone knew what it was about Kelly or Debbie or Charlie-Beth or Tracy or Pat that had made her smile this week. Everyone knew how Michelle was doing, or how Heather was making out, or what everyone's dogs or birds were up to...family is family, after all. Everyone knew how Dustin & Seth were doing in sports or hunting, because you were all her favorite topics of conversation. She spoke of all of you, oldest to youngest, and if you listened you knew Janet's world revolved around her family.
The thing I will remember most about Janet will be how lucky she considered herself, because she had all of you to claim as her own. She was SO proud of every one of you.
What a fine and lovely lady. I'm incredibly lucky to have known her.

Dear French family,
While nothing can undo the sadness of this time, we hope the testimonials of how much Janet was loved by everyone will soften the ache, give you comfort and maybe even a smile or two.
Do you know how many people called her "Ma"? She was a mother figure to so many. A natural wit, she could make you laugh out loud even when you didn't want to. She was hard working, and set an example for everyone. She was kind, and would give away anything she had if it would help someone. She was mischievous and sometimes even irreverent, but you knew it was never spiteful. She loved her town, and defended it with both feet planted and hands on her hips if you said anything too critical of it.

To the family of Janet French,
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I have so many fond memories of Janet from when I was a small kid up through when we worked (or should I say "laughed") together at Franks. She always made everything fun and she'd keep you on your toes! I was also so appreciative of the way she reached out to me when my Nana passed away, she was so kind. Janet was truly a special person and will be missed.
Fondly,
Jenn
