I was so sorry to hear this about Leona. She and Dad were cousins (Ned Ovitt) I read her books and enjoyed them, I would like to attend her spring committal if I know when it will be. Again. Very sorry.

Lee lived a full, productive life during her time on earth. She left many wonderful memories with her family and friends. Over time "a family structure" might change and people drift apart, but happily shared, extended family events remain with those who were participants. I am happy Lee had a happy life and now she is with others who have gone before. May she Rest in Peace. Betsy

To Cathy and your family, My deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. I greatly enjoyed her books and found her writing to be quite profound. She was such a dignified lady and will be missed as a resident here from Elderwood at North Creek.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Warner and hanging out with Cathy at her home in North Creek and attending 4-H meetings. Every Halloween I looked forward to freshly made caramel apples and sometimes popcorn balls...Loved them! If I was lucky I went home with two caramel apples. Lots and lots of fun memories from my childhood took place in and around her home. My thoughts and prayers are with Cathy, David, Bonnie, and family. Love Always, Kim
