Warrensburg: Anthony R. Di Bartolomeo, 67, of Hudson Street, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, February 19, 2007 after being stricken at his home. Born July 19, 1939 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Michael and Rose (Smith) Di Bartolomeo. Loving and beloved husband of Alice (Oliva) Di Bartolomeo and devoted father of Anthony Jr. and his wife, Stephanie of Port Orange, FL, Maria of Corinth, Michael and his wife, Leticia of Port Orchard, WA, Allison and her husband, Eudelio of Glens Falls, Lisa Marie of Saratoga Springs. Tony was the proud grandfather of Curtis, Stephen, Nicholas, Christopher, Thomas, Morgan, Julia and Molly. Besides his parents, two aunts and an uncle have predeceased him. Tony was a certified security officer with Command Security Corp. for many years. He took a great deal of pride in his position and did his job excellent. He was very proud of his son, Michael, who has been serving in the US Navy for the past 17 years. He is a First Class Petty Officer, Interior Communications Electrician and presently serving as a Military Police Officer. His grandson, Curtis is also serving in the Navy. Tony was well liked in Warrensburg and had a kind word for everyone. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Friends may call on Tony’s family from 4-7 pm Friday at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at 7 pm Friday the funeral home with Sister Linda Hogan of St. Cecilia’s Church officiating. Spring burial will take place in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Warrensburg. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Warrensburg EMS, PO Box 157, Warrensburg, NY 12885.
