Obituary of Linda J. Rogge

Queensbury: To the strains of Elvis Presley’s gospel music and surrounded by her loving family, Linda J. Morrison-Rogge, of Westmore Avenue, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the age of 75 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 26, 1943 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Seymour “Dutch” and Shirley (Wilcox) Morrison. She was a graduate of the Hadley-Luzerne Central School and attended Morrisville Community College. Linda was a lifelong resident of the Adirondack’s and loved her family, friends, Elvis Presley, Fox News, and Donald Trump. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Frasier-Eastwood, Laurie Anne Eastwood (Billy), Robin Lynn Meyers and her husband, Rob, Amber Rae Eastwood (Don); brother, M. A. “Butch” Morrison, LT COL USAF (RET) of Alabama; sister, Deborah Morrison of South Glens Falls; as well as four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Linda’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be conducted privately in Warrensburg Cemetery. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire Oncology staff on Tower 2 at Glens Falls Hospital as well as High Peaks Hospice for the outstanding care she received during this difficult time.
