Obituary of Karl E. Irish

Warrensburg: Karl E. Irish, 89, of Jenni Jill Drive passed away peacefully Friday, September 6, 2013 at Adirondack Tri-County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. Born November 17, 1923 in Warrensburg, he was the son of the late Arthur and Nellie (Brooks) Irish. Following his graduation from Warrensburg Central School in 1943, Karl began his employment with New York Bell Telephone as a lineman. Throughout the years, he excelled in his profession and retired as a supervisor in 1982. Besides his parents, Karl is predeceased by his sister, Neoma Dunden. He is survived by his beloved children: Linda Terp of Warrensburg; Jeffrey Irish and his wife, Robin of Wilton; his grandchildren: Sonya Hauser and her husband, Matthew of Milton; Deidre Jenks and her husband, Sheldon Dale, Jr. of Greenfield; great-grandchildren: Sierra Simpson of Warrensburg; Gabriel Jenks; Sheldon Dale III; Emma Jenks all of Greenfield; Arden Hauser of Milton; his brother, Arthur Irish, Jr. and his wife, Jane of New Smyrna Beach, FL; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Karl’s request there will be no calling hours scheduled. Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of his family.
