Obituary of Ralph E. Ringler

North Creek: Ralph E. Ringler, 56, of State Rt. 28, passed away, Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the Glens Falls Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born August 11, 1950 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late George and Patricia (Steele) Ringler Sr. Ralph was a lifelong resident of the area and was well known as a kind and gentle man. He worked at Gore Mt. Ski Center in different capacities for over 35 years. Following the death of his father, he was his mother’s caregiver for 25 years. He loved golf and was an avid Yankee fan. Besides his parents, his brother, George Jr. also predeceased him. Ralph was a communicant of St. James RC Church in North Creek. He leaves behind his loving siblings, Joyce Parker and her husband, Peter of North Creek; Ann Pautler and her husband, John of Saratoga Springs; twin sister, Karen Smith and her husband, James of North Creek; Patricia DeFilippo and her husband, Anthony of South Glens Falls; John Ringler and his wife, Robyn of South Glens Falls; sister in law, Judy Cook and her husband, Larry of North Creek; his beloved nieces and nephews, Peter and Todd Parker, Leisa Brockett, Beth and Mary Ellen Pautler, Karrie Vanderwarker, Jason Smith, Maria, Angela and Toni DeFilippo, Geoff and Brad Ringler, Tracy Watson and Sue Ringler; uncle, Alvin “Bud” Steele and his wife, Mildred of Cleveland, Ohio; and his very close friend, Lisa. Friends may call on Ralph’s family from 4-8 pm Sunday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Inc, 4479 State Rt. 28, North River. A funeral mass will be celebrated 9 am Monday at St. James RC Church, Main St., North Creek with Fr. George Fleming officiating. Rite of committal will follow in St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Peter and Todd Parker, Jason Smith, Geoff and Brad Ringler and Josh Riding. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Adirondack Tri-County Health and Rehab.
