Obituary of Darryl L. Prosser

Adirondack: Darryl L. Prosser, Sr., 49, went into the arms of the Lord, Friday, December 26, 2014 at Glens Falls Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer, with the love of his life, Regina, at his side. Born June 27, 1965 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Curtis and Ruth (Putnam) Prosser. In addition to his parents, Darryl was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Prosser, Sr. and a son, James “JC” Prosser. He is survived by seven children, Darryl Prosser, Jr., Crystal Prosser, Kimberlee Prosser, Billie Jean Prosser, Corey Bennett, Donald Prosser III, and Jobe Brown; nine siblings, Gloria Henderson, Gail Barrett, Linda Anselmo, Larry Prosser, Casey Prosser, Sr., Leroy Prosser, Sr., Richard Prosser, Sr., Donald Prosser, Sr., and Gerald Prosser, Sr. ; nine grandchildren, Sierra, Darren, Logan, Jeremiah, Aubrey, Mayson, Isabella, Jasmyn and Darryl. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Friends may call on Darryl’s family from 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 7 pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Darryl's request was for family and friends in attendance to wear casual camo attire. Burial will take place in the spring, at a time to be announced in Warrensburg Cemetery. Darryl’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital, as well as Tower 2, for the care and compassion shown throughout his illness.
