Warrensburg:
Robert (Bob) C. Greene passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 7th 2019 at the age of 85 years. He was the son of Benjamin C. Greene and Anna (Moffit) Greene and he grew up with them at Snug Harbor, Lake George, NY. Bob is survived by his sons Paul and David and daughter Roseann, 3 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He graduated from Union College in Schenectady NY with a degree as an Electrical Engineer and this is where he met is late wife Jean. After graduation he began worked for RCA designing the first color TV’s.
In 1964 he began his TV repair business, called Mountain Electronics. He was also instrumental in installing many translators (TV repeaters) for many valley communities with poor TV reception.
Bob was contracted by the Lake George Steamboat Company to do all the electrical wiring on the Minne Ha Ha that still sails today on Lake George.
At Bob’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
