Dear Joe,
My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of your partner, Merrill.
What a lovely sweet woman. I met Merrill at the Outreach Center when she would come with Denise Conte along with Cassie and..( I am forgetting the little boy's name) to Playgroup. Those were good times working with all those lovely children and wonderful volunteers. We worked together at Leaven House with Sister Mary. It wasn't much but we carried items, donations into The Baby's Place. A couple of times I took Sister Mary Brady to your home. Peace and healing be with you every day. Kathy Sinnott

All of my fondest childhood memories include you... a second mom and a second home in every way. It seems like I spent almost as much time with you, Joe, Krissy and Huddy as I did at my house. Among the most joyful times of my life.
I know in my heart that you're at peace now Ma, and that you're reunited with all the most precious people you've been missing all these years. Love you lots... Ab

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Merrill brought so much happiness to so many people despite the difficulties that she faced herself. I know that she will be greatly missed, but heaven has just gotten quite an angel.

My heartfelt sympathies to all who loved this sweet, giving soul. I worked with Merrill at Travelers over the years and will never forget her infectious laugh, her caring heart and her great sense of humor. She left us much too soon, but clearly because God has bigger and better plans for her. Merrill was a woman of great faith and I don't doubt she's looking down on us and doing great things.
She will absolutely be missed.

Please accept our sincere condolences for your family's loss. We were sorry to read of the passing of another classmate in the TH-Record.
We went all the way through school with Merrill, starting in West St. Elementary, on to North Jr. High and finally Newburgh Free Academy. No matter where we travelled after school, we all share the same roots in Newburgh. The 1950's & 60's were a special time to grow up in America and we treasure those memories.
