What to say? Irene's family are threads sewn into the fabric of our family. I worked with Irene & Dar at the Motel. Wen worked at McD's with Irene & Cheryl. Day care, my bridal shower, our wedding. All special times shared with a wonderful lady and her family. I want to always remember Irene with that quirky grin and the twinkle of mischief in her eye. Now that her and Dar are both pain free we all know that they are up to mischief together in Heaven. Remember them with humor because that is how they would want to be remembered. Love to you all!

I will always remember Irene's cheerful face at (supposedly) 7;30 in the morning (usually closer to 7:55)as I was on my way to work. She would grin knowingly at me and give me my juice a bagel. I once asked her why she enjoyed working the early shift - one I would NEVER have chosen - and she said that she then had the rest of the day to do what she wanted or needed to do. She enjoyed the poeple she saw in the morning as they were usually friendly and had some funny stories about their upcoming day.
Dick & family, I hope you will take joy from some of the stories you will hear about Irene. Some you will have heard before but some will be new and all of them will show an exceptional woman!
Rest in peace Irene, you are now at home.
