Obituary of Marie Leone Montena

Garnet Lake: On March 30, 2026, Marie Leone (Meade) Montena went home to be with her Lord.

She will be remembered for her brilliant smile, love of a good story and her kind soul. We are grateful for her sacrificial love and dedication to the success of her children.

She will be missed each and every day by her family, friends, neighbors, church family, her beloved brothers, and a multitude of nieces and nephews who all loved the warmth of her attention and her way of making everyone feel important.

Her next adventure is beyond our imagining but we know she is walking in the garden with the ones she loves and asking Jesus many, many, many questions.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from Noon – 2pm at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY. A memorial service will follow visitation at 2pm.
