Obituary of Shella D. Demar

HADLEY: Shella D. (Isaacs) Demar, 65, of Hadley, NY passed away on March 19, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Shella was born on September 21, 1960 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late Harold and Betty (Jones) Isaacs. 

Shella enjoyed camping, fishing, rock and roll music, and gardening, especially tending to her flowers. She had a deep love for her dogs, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Shella is survived by her children, Misty (Walter) Cook of Lake Luzerne, Brandy (Jeff) Shiely of Hadley, and her son, Jake Bland and his companion, Melissa, of Warrensburg; her grandchildren, Quinton, Michael, Lilly, Dylon, Wyatt, Kyle, and Genevieve; her great-grandson, Isiah; and her cousin, Candace (Rusty) Hopkins of Texas.

In keeping with Shella’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
