WARRENSBURG:  Charles “Chuck” Holcomb, 67, of Warrensburg, NY passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026.

Chuck was born on April 29, 1958, in Glens Falls, NY, to Janet (Reed) Holcomb and the late Daniel Holcomb. He grew up in Warrensburg, NY, and graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1976. Chuck then entered the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1980. He went on to attend Adirondack Community College, where he earned an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. Chuck later continued his education at SUNY Albany, receiving his bachelor’s degree in Archaeology.

Chuck worked throughout the area with his father in the construction business before moving on to various other jobs. He eventually started his own business, Wood Chuck Wood Turning, which he owned and operated for over ten years.

In his younger years, Chuck loved hunting and spending time in the woods with his dog, Spike. Chuck was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where he was very active as choir director, he loved music and singing for the Lord and served as a Deacon. Later in life, Chuck developed a passion for computers and spent many hours enjoying working on them.

Besides his father, Chuck is predeceased by his brother-in-law Lawrence Ingraham.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Janet Holcomb of Glens Falls; his sister, Darcy Ingraham of Thurman; his nephews, Josh Ingraham of Glens Falls, Jacob Ingraham of Glens Falls, Jesse Ingraham of Thurman, and Jeremy Ingraham and his partner, Bobbi Lee Webster, of Queensbury. Chuck shared a special bond with Jeremy and considered him the son he never had.
