Obituary of Thomas G. Smith

NORTH CREEK: Thomas G. “Tom” Smith of North Creek passed away at his home on January 7, 2026 following a brief illness.

Born on May 4, 1948, in North Creek, he was the youngest son of late Geraldine (Blazy) and Robert J. Smith. He retired from Passanno Paints in Queensbury after 43 years of service.  

Tom loved and was loved by his family, his friends (who were many) and his beloved hunting beagles.  Anywhere he would travel, someone would know him and say “hello” as he enjoyed making friends everywhere he went.

He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Vickie J. (Sabattis) Smith of North Creek, his daughter Erica (Smith) Beaudet of Thurman and son Ben Smith of Hartford as well as many other relatives and friends.

A service will be held privately for family as per his request.
