LAKE GEORGE: Shirley Mabel (Baker) Dutcher, 87, of Lake George, NY went home to be in the arms of her Savior on December 27, 2025. She was blessed to have passed peacefully in her sleep.
Shirley was born at home on August 3, 1937 to the late Wilbur and Evelyn Baker of Warrensburg. Shirley had a full life that touched many people. Her friends at The Bank Café will miss her weekly chats over coffee. Shirley made friends wherever she went, including the many friends she made on her annual trip to Florida. Let’s not forget her famous gingerbread houses. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.
She is predeceased by her husband Lawrence Scott Dutcher, her parents Wilbur and Evelyn Baker and her loving sister Rose Baker Braley. Also, two great nieces Elizabeth Manjak and Courtney M. Swinton.
