Obituary of Gregory D. Fish
Warrensburg:
“Hello Darlin!”
Gregory D. “Gregor” Fish, 66, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 7, 1959 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late David and Doris (Cameron) Fish.
Gregg found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, spending time on the golf course with his buddies, playing darts, competing in his beloved pool league, and riding his motorcycle. He never missed a family gathering and he was always the life of the party.
He was a proud and dedicated member of the Warrensburg Volunteer Fire Company and also gave back as a youth softball coach.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his beloved wife of 26 years, Barbara Lynn Fish; brother, Harry Fish; sisters, Dale Warrington, Brenda Truesdale, Tammy Fish, and Bonnie Monroe.
He is survived by his three children, Stacey Kelly and her husband Todd, Erin Rumble and her husband, Mark, and Andrew Fish and his wife, Sarah DeSantis-Fish; six beautiful grandchildren, Nicholas and Brandan Kelly, Aiden Chapel, Alaina Rumble, Sadeigh Fish, and Bryce Meyers. He is also survived by his companion, Bonnie Farmer and her children, Brandy French (Josh), Henry Farmer (Jen), his dog Stormy and cat Izzy; his siblings, Mike Fish (Judy), Rich Fish (Lisa), Monty Fish (Alexis), JD Selleck (Crystal), Jennifer Steeg (Dan) Daveen Granger (Wayne), and Debbie Selleck (Mark); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gregg will be remembered for his warm heart, sense of humor, and deep love for his family, friends, and community. His spirit, laughter, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. “Now, go get a job!”
Friends may call on Gregg’s family from 2 to 4 pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at 4 pm at the funeral home. A reception will follow at Green Mansions.
