Obituary of Albert A. Sequeira Jr.

WARRENSBURG:  Albert A. Sequeira Jr., 74, of Warrensburg, NY, passed away peacefully at his home on October 3, 2025.

Albert was born on December 17, 1950, in New Bedford, MA, to the late Albert Sr. and Leila (Whyknock) Sequeira. He graduated from Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School in 1970 and went on to attend tractor-trailer school, graduating in 1974. Shortly thereafter, Albert began driving for Cumberland Farms, a career that took him throughout New York State for many years. He later drove for Guardian before retiring.

Upon retirement, Albert moved to the Adirondacks, where he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and crafting beautiful wind chimes.

In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by his wife, Ann Sequeira; his sisters, Leila Sequeira and Edith Reeves; and the mother of his children, Betty Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Melissa (Melinda) Sequeira, James (Gretchen) Sequeira, Christine Sequeira, and Tom (Aisha) Sequeira; his fiancée, Rochelle Gussow; stepchildren, Steven (Pam) Boisclair and Kim Boisclair; siblings, Flora (Steve) Frost, Laura Sequeira, Marie Sequeira, Bob (Cindy) Sequeira, Jimmy (Cathy) Sequeira, David Sequeira, and Allen Sequeira; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
