Obituary of Andrew R. Keith
WARRENSBURG: Andrew “Andy” Keith, 41, passed away at his home on October 1, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Born on December 2, 1983, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Bruce and Deborah (Olden) Keith. Andy graduated from Warrensburg Central School in 2003 and went on to work in several places, including Warrensburg and Johnsburg EMS.
In 2007, Andy met the love of his life—and next-door neighbor—Marie Sutphin. The two were married on July 4, 2007, at the Fish Hatchery in Warrensburg.
In 2014, Andy suffered a heart attack that led to years of health struggles and, ultimately, disability. Despite these challenges, his passion for hunting and fishing never faded. He loved camping with his family in Moose River and, for a time, volunteered with the Warrensburg and Wevertown Fire Companies. In his younger years, Andy also enjoyed stock car racing with his family. Above all, Andy’s greatest joy was his children and the time he spent with them.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Marie Keith; his children, Ryan, Izabella, and Zacary Keith; his parents, Bruce and Deborah Keith; his siblings, Jodi (Mike) Curtis, Henry W. (Stacey) Keith, and Andy's identical twin, Aaron Keith; his parents-in-law, Ross and Earlen Sutphin; his sister-in-law, Vinda Sutphin; his brother-in-law, Warren Sutphin; and many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Anaiah Keith, who lovingly called him “Uncle Annie.” He also leaves behind numerous dear friends.
Friends may call on Andy’s family from 2pm – 3pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY. A memorial service will take place at 3pm with Pastor Randy Gross officiating.
