Obituary of Mary C. Kenyon
STONY CREEK: Mary Juckett Kenyon, 74 years olf of Stony Creek, NY, passed away on September 13, 2025, at the Bridgewater Rehabilitation Center in Binghamton, NY.
Born on August 29, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Gerald C. and Emily (Wells) Juckett. She grew up in Indian Lake and graduated from Indian Lake Central School. After graduation, Mary studied nursing through the Mary McClellan Hospital program. She was an active member of the Warrensburg American Legion Auxiliary Post Unit #446.
On October 10, 1970, she married her loving husband, Roderic K. Kenyon. Mary was a member of the Indian Lake First Baptist Church, where they were married on a beautiful autumn day. They would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on October 10, 2025.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Always busy with crafts, she especially enjoyed making fleece blankets and creating gifts for others to enjoy. Mary was a hard worker and held several jobs, including at Sit ‘N Bull Ranch and later at Scotty’s Motel. She also worked in the cafeteria at Warrensburg Central School, where she loved serving the children and was touched by how many remembered her after her retirement. Mary then worked for 25 years at JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts in Queensbury.
In addition to her parents and several relatives, Mary was predeceased by her only sibling, her brother, Reuben E. Juckett, in November 2001.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Roderic K.; their son, Roderic J. (Katie); and her grandchildren, Kayleigh, Khylion, and Kambri. Other survivors include her dear friend, Marie Kastner Pifer (the sister she never had); Rod’s aunts, Mary and Monica; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and acquaintances. She is also deeply missed by her cat, Punk’n.

Friends and family may call from 4–7 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Alexander Funeral Home, followed by burial in Warrensburg Cemetery.
