Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

BOLTON LANDING: Susan H. Tennent, 74, of Bolton Landing, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on August 5, 2025, following complications from a heart transplant and other ongoing health challenges.

Born on September 29, 1950, in Glens Falls, NY, Susan was the daughter of the late Henry and Mildred (Pleck) Osgood. She graduated from Warrensburg Central School and later earned an associate degree from Mildred Elley.

Susan dedicated many years to being a stay-at-home mother to her five children—a role she considered both the most demanding and the most rewarding. After moving to Bolton Landing in the late 1980s, she began working at The Sagamore and later played a key role in helping to open and support the operations of Tavern on the Pond, where she brought her creativity, warmth, and entrepreneurial spirit.

A talented seamstress, Susan had a lifelong passion for sewing and quilt-making. She created many beautiful quilts that are now treasured keepsakes for her family. She was also an avid reader and found great joy and comfort in books throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her son, Aaron Fagnano.

She leaves behind her children: Amy Anderson, Seth Osgood, Devin Tennent and her husband, Ian Elwood, and Loren (Holly) Tennent; her beloved grandchildren: Aylen, Gilly, Gray, and Hart; and many dear friends who were like family.

Memorial donations in Susan’s name may be made to Donate Life America, 5516 Falmouth Street, Suite 302, Richmond, VA 23230 or at www.donatelife.net.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
